Boat zincs are an essential product if you own a boat. Boat zinc anodes protect the metals on your boat from the corrosion that is inevitable if you keep your boat in the water. Zinc anodes for boats protect in saltwater but there are others alloys necessary for corrosion protection to you as a boater. If you are boating in salt water, you can use either aluminum or zinc. If you are boating in brackish water, you need aluminum anodes. If you do your boating in freshwater rivers or lakes, you need magnesium anodes to protect your boat.
